About Us
The passion behind opening a country side house in remote location was the love for nature. In past few years Shimla has become over crowded with buildings encroaching one upon another with little or no open space. Parks if any are few and distant. The travelers coming to Shimla for the first time have an image of hills covered with greenery, which now can only be seen in the surrounding areas. We wanted a place with lots of open space in the heart of nature.

If you want a place to spend a night there are many options but if one wants to experience the serenity and beauty of Shimla then tranquil countryside homes is an ideal location. People coming for holidays are from cities and come to relax and enjoy. We believe one can only feel relaxed when your mind is at peace. To relax your mind you need calm and tranquil surroundings to rejuvenate your mind and body. We wanted to provide our guests a leisurely stay with all facilities amidst nature.
The biggest USP is the serenity and calmness of the place. It is surrounded by thick deodar forest on three sides which adds to the beauty of the property. One can visit nearby streams which are at a walking distance and can also go for hiking in the forest with a guide. The experience starts with 6km off road journey from Mashobra. The bumpy ride is adventurous and mesmerizing with beautiful landscapes. Forest and villages on the way give a true feeling of the rural setting.

Tranquil countryside is located at Village Sehgar Six K.M. from Tourist Place Mashobra. Tranquil countryside is drive in property and is situated in Thick Dedodar Forest with lush green surrounding. There is an offroad ride of 6 K.m.'s on unmetteled (kaccha) road from Mashobra to Sehgar.
The drivers who have not driven on offroad earlier may feel timid. We shall be pleased to assist you in such cases and our trained driver will assist you to drive your vehicle to Tranquil Countryside Homes. We recommend that complementary vehicle provided by us should be used for Travelling from Mashobra to Sehgar.
Located at 5885 ft. above sea level. Temperature in summer around 10° to 30° and in winter 0° to 15°. Tranquil countryside is not recommended for those persons who wish to enjoy city life. If you wish to relax in lap of nature then we are going to be your obvious choice.
Is Parking Available for vehicle at Mashobra or some other Place?
Multilevel Parking at nominal charges is available at Sanjauli where your vehicle is safe. From Sanjauli to Tranquil Countryside Homes complementary vehicle service is available.

Home made food with organic material is used. Tea, coffee, fresh milk, juices are always available. Room service will be provided. We serve Indian and Continental cuisines.
We have a dedicated cook at Tranquil countryside to make homely food. The cost of food based upon the plan taken is included in Tariff which includes Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
Meals will be available on specified times as under.
Breakfast 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
Lunch 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Dinner 8:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Extra Meals, Snacks, beverages are available on extra cost.
Is there any market restaurant, Dhaba, daily need store nearby?
No, The distance to the market is about 6 K.M’s from the Tranquil Countyside. The place is suitable for relaxing and is situated in lonely place away from the hustle bustle of city life.
How many persons can stay in a room?
Only two persons will be accommodated in a room extra bed is also available on demand for which extra charges will be applicable.
What are the other activities that can be performed?
Trekking : Tranquil has miles and miles of trekking routes in the vicinity. All of them lead to breathtaking view points, where you can stop breathe in the fresh mountain air and take in nature in all its beauty and awesomeness. It is truly a rewarding experience.
Nature Walk : Situated in the lap of nature, there is no shortage of things to do, place to explore and sights to see around Tranquil the serene surroundings with its flourishing flora and fauna are a great destination for nature enthusiasts and photographers alike.
Guided Sightseeing Tours* : Guided sightseeing tours are organized to various view points near by, other places of interest and tourist destinations. These include tours to Shimla Town, Kufri, Fagu, Chail, Nandehra, Tatapani, Narkanda, Chanchal, Hatkoti, Bhimkali Temple etc.
